Funded PhD Opportunity on smart cities

There is currently the opportunity to apply for two fully-funded PhD studentships within the Department of Geography at King's College London and the Institute of Geography at the University of Neuchâtel, Switzerland. The studentships are supported by the the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF).The PhD studentships will work on the research project: 'Smart Cities; 'Provincializing' the global urban age in India and South Africa'.One of the studentships will be based at King's College London, supervised by Dr Ayona Datta.The second studentship will be at the University of Neuchâtel, supervised by Ola Söderström.The studentships are to start on 1 January 2018.Closing date: Friday 29 SeptemberInterviews will be held in October (date to be confirmed). Download full details of these opportunities and how to apply.
